Particular rules (women)

     ARTICLE 1

BETHENY SPORT ORGANISATION organises the 18^th CHRONO CHAMPENOIS TROPHEE EUROPEEN Féminin on Sunday 16 September 2007 in Bétheny (in Marne department). This race is competed by 25 riders belonging to federations affiliated to International Cycling Union. The race will be run under UCI Euro Tour calendar , in accordance with the regulation the following points will be attributed :

80 – 56 – 32 – 24  - 20 – 16 – 12 – 8 – 7 – 6 – 5 –3

- Class WE.1-1, women category Elite riders  - it is open to the 1st 10 UCI teams and the 1st 5 national teams answering the invitations, then it will follow the order of registration

- Registration will be closed on August 26 th 2007.

      ARTICLE 2

It is women individual time trial    

The race takes place near REIMS in Marne department.

The starting order is established by the organisation. The starts will take place every 2 minutes. First  start  at 14.30

The distance of the race is 33 kilometres 400. The finish time delay is 20%

ARTICLE 3

The route will be marked with arrows from Friday 14^th September 2007

The organisation office (the permanence) located in Foyer Rural in Bétheny (place des Tilleuls) is open on Saturday 15^th September 2007 from 16:00 to 20:00 and on Sunday 16^th September 2007 from 11:00 to 12:00.

Identification numbers are given to riders at the organisation office (the permanence) in Foyer Rural (place des Tilleuls) on Sunday 16^th September 2007 from 11:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 14:00, on presentation of their membership card.

Identication numbers shall be worn on the back without being reduced or folded down.

ARTICLE 4

Riders who stand on the podium with the commissaire of the race shall arrive for signature control 15 minutes at least before their start.

A rider starting after her schedule is considered as having started on time except if the commissaires recognize it was completely unavoidable. Then they can allow the rider to start at another schedule.

All riders entering the race shall comply with the particular rules of the race and with UCI and French Cycling Federation rules.

     ARTICLE 5

A rider who is caught up shall not ride less than 25 meters from the one who outruns her. Otherwise she shall be disqualified.

A rider who catches up with another shall outrun laterally and 2 meters at least from the other.

It's an individual race therefore no help is allowed among riders.

Feeding is forbidden during the race. The UCI scale of penalties will apply.

A rider making a fault is disqualified.

The frequency used for radio-tour will be : 151,775 MHZ   (for Jury Members only)

ARTICLE 6

Each rider  shall be followed by a team or federation vehicle with a registed member (a team manager or a team representative) on board.

Each following vehicle shall  transport spare equipment for the riders it follows. This equipment  shall be given when both have stopped.

Four-wheel drive (4x4) vehicles or vans are forbidden.

     ARTICLE 7

U.C.I anti - doping regulation will strictly be applicable in this event and anti - doping tests will take   place in the “ Foyer Rural” ( Testing station)

Riders shall wear racing outfits  at the formal celebration

It is registered on the UCI Euro Tour calendar and in accordance with the U.C.I. regulations, the following points will be attributed :

 40 – 30 – 16 – 12 – 10 – 8 –6 – 3

Classe  ME.1. 2  & U. 23 men category, it is open to Elites Pro from national, or team selection  and Euro –Continental Pro

Registrations will be closed on August  26 th 2007
